DIY Halloween Costumes 2020

We may not be able to dance the night away this Halloween like we did last year but that doesn’t mean we still can’t dress up, decorate or host our own virtual spook party!

Check these out:

Sabrina from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

★ You’ll need a black headband, some spray-on white hair dye, a red sweater with a white collar (that looks like your grandmother's linen tablecloth), and of course, red lipstick.

A Cat

★ You’ll need to colour your nose and the top of your lip black, winged eyeliner, whiskers drawn onto your cheeks, cat ears (which you can buy at the dollar store) and a furry sweater.

Zombie

★ You’ll need some basic makeup skills; makeup (preferably a colourful palette), liquid face paint and body paint (or honestly, if you have makeup to spare, it’ll do), old clothes, coffee grounds (for the dirt on your clothes) and BRAINS.

Drake

★ You’ll need a black marker to draw on the beard (if you don’t already have a beard), some boots, and a turtleneck and sweatpants. And an empty bottle of champagne (#champagnepapi).

Where’s Waldo

★ You’ll need a red and white striped t-shirt, blue jeans, a brown satchel and a red and white striped beanie.

A Princess

★ You’ll need a flower crown, a formal or simply beautiful dress and your beautiful self.

Boxer

★ You’ll need boxing gloves, loose boxers with a high waist, sports bra/crop top and a

robe.

Dave

★ You’ll need a name tag that says, ‘Dave’.

80’s Queen

★ You’ll need a high side ponytail, colourful scrunchie, neon coloured tights, colourful tank, off-shoulder loose tee and legwarmers. Oh, and don’t forget the star-shaped earrings.

There are so many things you can do for Halloween this year, costume wise. POPSUGAR has tons of ideas for great, cheap and creative DIY costumes for you to do at home.

You can still get together with your friends and family. All you need is your laptop, phone, and a decent wifi connection and House Party or Zoom.

Or you and your friends can all dress up and watch movies using the group watch feature from Disney+ has a group watch feature now and bonus - they have Hocus Pocus on demand!

So, prepare your favourite beverage, favourite food, get your candy and have a Happy Halloween!
